The Unpaid Intern is a campaign spreading awareness about the consequences of unpaid internships for work culture and the unpaid intern themselves. The identity takes on a sarcastic, humorous tone to approach the heavy topic, suggesting the nonsensical arrangements of unpaid internships are laughable. The visual language accordingly follows this tone, drawing a selection of vibrant, fun colours, a combination of serif and sans-serif fonts, and handwritten text.

Included in The Unpaid Intern Starter Pack, made to reference a starter pack a new employee may receive, is a booklet, a ‘HELLO my name is’ sticker pack, and an ID card.
